The Clamshell GM22CS pictured left easily holds a 20" square kiln shelf, and the loading couldn't be easier. The elements are hung on ceramic tubes and the hinges are hydraulic. The digital controller is very easy to use with 9 preprogrammed schedules for the beginner, and full programming capacity for 6 programs with 8 segments. Some handy features for altering programs while firing make it a very friendly but powerful tool.
